A piercing pattern occurs when the first session is a black candle, then the second sessions candle opens below the prior session low and closes at least half way above the prior sessions candle real body. How can that be possible in forex because the open of one candlestick is the close of the prior candle? Only in weekends you can have a gap?

I was wondering what a currency trader does? I found a job listing online that say they needed ” Entry level Currency traders” but didn’t really specify what they do exactly. I am guessing it is something to do with Forex. It then lead on to summit your resume for a interview etc.The manger of the company emailed me back saying he was really interested in interviewing me after reviewing my resume. I want to know what currency traders do that are in the entry level position and is it hard to learn? If it is where can I learn a head of time to better understand it? Can currency traders earn much? Please help thanks!

I am 21 male and still undecided what I want to do in college. Is it too late to still decide what I want to do? Am i getting too old? I feel that way…I do love investing though if I understand it…

hello everyone i need some help with starting forex trading firstly i would like to know which is the best site to learn all the symbols and so on, secondly i would liek to know as a day trader is it true you have to sit in front of the screen all day to trade, thirdly i have heared about this system called ivybot i want to know if its true about how it can help make you money i am from the uk and everytime i search for information i get sites that look like there going to scam you for information asking me to pay all the time. thank you for and advice and help given much apreciated

Start with investopeadia, then read some books BEFORE you start trading – The Online Trading Expert is a good one.

Stay away from bots, you won’t make any money that way unless you really know what you are doing.

Then when you are ready open up a dummy account with IG Index or someone similar to test trading with. Any Metatrader platform is the best for reading charts on.

No you don’t need to sit in front of the screen all day to trade, I trade FX every day and most of the market moves take place between 6 and 9am and from about 12-4pm.

I am nearly 18, and I have a very strong interest in Forex trading. I have a practice account with FX Express and have discovered some interesting things and techniques that I’ve discovered myself on how to make money.

I’ve developed my own strategy that works everytime I trade so far, and I’m making 10% compounded everyday I place a trade. in fact I want it to be my career. I will open up a live account with real money as soon as I turn aged 18 with maybe a couple of hundred. The only problem is that my mum and step-dad say “You’ll never make a living out of it”, or “You’ll lose all your money.” What I’d like to know is if its actually possible to make a decent living out of Forex trading and do you or anyone you know currently do this as a day trader. I’d like to prove them wrong.

Yes, it’s possible, but not with a couple of hundred dollars of starting capital. Think about it, for many professional traders, having a 50% profit on the year is considered a good year. If you start of with $200, and make 50% profit, you would have $100 profit. Is $100 enough for you to live off of? Not unless you live in a cave.

However, if you start off with $100,000 capital, and make 50% profit for the year, then you would end up with $50,000. Is that enough to live off of? Probably yes.

Yes, I know $100,000 is a lot of money. But you can start up with $5,000 and work your way up. You are still young. I would get a job and start saving, and on the side, continue to trade and research using a micro account. (Notice how I didn’t say demo account because demo accounts success do not translate to real account success). Anyways, once you know you can be profitable with real money, then you wouldn’t hesitate as much to put in $5000, or $10,000 or whatever you have saved up in your account.

Lots of people make great living as day traders. But it takes time and patience to get there. Hope this helps.
